(Draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25 Feb 2026) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with chocolate, dark bread, roasted grain and toffee. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of chocolate, dark bread, grain, dried fruit, caramel and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is robust dark malt with potent caramel, cocoa, some chocolate, and notes of dried dark fruits including raisins. Flavour is fairly sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied. A fine sweet Bock with some welcome notes of chocolate in the aroma.

--Keg at Dutch Taproom, Bermondsey, London. -- Clear nut brown, small head. Caramelly nose with a tartness. Mid sweet with medium to full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and mild tart pine. Low bitterness.
