@ Hoppeschuur, Knesselare. Dark red/amber colour. Creamy white foam. Medium carbonation. Toast and light roasted malts. Hints of caramel and light metallic touch. Some smoke also? Decent and very drinkable.

Clear deep red amber beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: grains, bit malty, hay, cooked vegetable, some caramel, bit of banana, spices, nutmeg. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, caramel, bit sugary, spicy, cooked vegetables, green banana, bit metallic. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, caramel, nutmeg, ginger, metallic touch, pretty sweet.

Draught @ Hoppeschuur. Opaque red brownish color, full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, some hops, something weird (pumpkin I guess?) and a bit sweetish. Taste malts, again lightly some hops, pumpkin more clearly, sweetish. Quite malty and certainly pumpkin influences. Very well brewed, not my favorite kind of beer, but no flaws whatsoever. Summarising: not my kind of beer, but very well done imo, therefore an average score.

Draught Very dense & fine, rather stable cream-coloured head over fully hazy red-amber beer. Roasted vegetable (the pumpkin) from the oven, hint at soap, lightly coloured malts, speculoos. Roasted, vegetable & grain. Sweetness, but restrained, again as caramelized vegetable from the oven. Quite slick, but taste and MF falling rather away in the finish, little aftertaste. Agreable - no fireworks but pleasing easy-drinking beer, with some plausible culinary pretentions.
