Thanks Leighton. Split 2 ways in stemware at 45F. 2 finger tight creamy head, a very pale yellow appearance and lots of bubbles. The nose is great. Rye and buckwheat, lemon grass, orange peels and a juicy bitterness along with spelt and corn. Taste is also nice. Great creamy mouthfeel, mild bitterness at start and a lingering finish. Wheat heavy but there is a slight strange sulphur taste also at the finish. Overall, a solid saison.

Bottle from Londis, Penny Lane, Liverpool. Hazy yellow pour with a small white head. Beak had notes of orange, straw, spices and yeast. The flavour had similar qualities with the orange notes working well in tandem with some well placed hop, Light and very drinkable. An interesting Saison that sounded good on paper and delivered in the flesh.

1/3 pint, keg at Mother Kelly’s Bottle & Tap Room, Bethnal Green. Pale golden body, stable white head with good lacing down the glass. Smell of grassy hops and spiced fruits. Lightly dark spiced fruity flavours supported by wheat and pine. Bitter endnotes. Soft in the mouth. Fair enough. (London 26.09.2014).

Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub 1 year anniversary party. Hazy pale yellow color, medium sized dense white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is nicely fruity and hoppy, some citrus and orangepeel. Taste lightly malts, orange, orangepeel, zesty, hops, slightly yeasty, slightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Nice, not really my kind of beer, but nice.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a big frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is yeast, light orange citrus, light grassy hop. The flavour is acid, light sour with a crisp, yeast, citrus, light earthy mineral palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. I like the idea, but the amarillo and the orange were well in the background.
