Bottle from Grassroots, Jacksonville. It pours cloudy pale gold with a medium white head. The nose is dough, wheat, light spice, salty and ripe banana. The taste is smooth, wheat, dough, salty, light tartness, wood/spruce, spice and hay with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Balanced, drinkable and refreshing. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by nuplastikk. Thanks greg! Peaty and a bit salty. Very interesting style that i would like to look into more. Decent tropical fruit kick in there too. Very cool beer.

16.9oz bottle. Hazy straw-yellow body. Oily, soapy white head. Mild, delicate. Soft delicate salty spruce tones. Really drinkable, sessionable, enjoyable, but also quality. Has an herbal tinge that reminds me of spice bomb Saisons, but this one is very balanced, well incorporated. Interesting, unique beer.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a slightly cloudy medium-orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some light sweet notes, some lemon character, and a touch of light salt. Flavor was roughly the same - salt comes out in this one. Spruce mellow in this. Not too bad.

Cloudy gold, kind of milky in appearance - lightly lactic character in the nose, moderate earthy spruce, a touch of salt, even a hint of smoke, herbal character - soft and frothy in the mouth - a touch of salt up front, followed by a quenching lactic acidity, mild phenolic notes, very subtle spruce - a bit more saltiness on the tail end, as the acidity starts to dissipate in the finish - a lingering, dry mineral note in the finish - subtle, some might say simple, but I think it’s quite lovely.
