440ml can, Chez Sophie. Pours hazed dark, deep tan head. Aroma of sweet chocolate and maple. Not quite as smooth and luxurious as expected.. chocolate and maple syrup comes through but a fuller body would've rounded it off nicely.

Can ordered from the brewery - 12 Beers of Christmas yo. Aroma has cocao with a smooth maple edge. Nuts join the aroma fray. Opaque dark brown. Thin beige head soon forms a narrow at best ring. Flava... rich cacao with a nig sour edge... berries.. but I also think that maple has unexpected results. Underlying nuttiness. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Sediment sticks to me teeth. Long astringent finish. For what should be a sweet Stour from my perspective there's a bitter heart.
