This is a classic smooth drinking bitter built on a base of pale malt, torrefied wheat with a helping of cara malt to bring sweetness and depth. Easy drinking whilst still bringing through all the classic bitter flavours. In a can make sure to hard pour the beer for best effect!

On nitro at The Rake at Borough Market, London. Amber orange pour. Creamy beige head. Earthy malt aroma. Lovely subtle maltiness upon first sip. Soft, silky mouthfeel. Herbal hops on backend. Wonderful example of the style.

Spotty beige, clear copper Malt, toffee, berries & caramel tastes with a bitter finish.

keg at the hanging bat ...amber ..creamy white head ...soft sweet caramel toffee fruit ..very British family brewer yeast

Cask @ The Bell Inn, Oswestry. Clear mahogany amber pour, nice white collar of foam atop. Decent whiff of twiggy malt. Flavour profile presents good nutty twiggy bitter action.. nicely malty. Decent satisfying bitter.
