440ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and fake sugar. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, marshmallow, sugary, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Too sweet for me.

Sweet, coffee, chocolate, then coconut, for some reason not as rich or thick as I would have guessed.

Can from The Star & Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a tan head. Rich nose of chocolate pudding, coffee, brown sugar, raisin, cocoa. Taste is all of the above plus a splash of sweet tobacco. Dry sweet finish. Nice.

Creamy tan head on a still black body. Coffee, roasted & malt aroma. Full bodied, soft & pillowy with a lightly carbonated back end. Coffee, plum, confectionery, liquorice, vanilla & raisin tastes. Classy.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours dark, good deep brown head. Aroma gives strong dark malt and big cakey chocolate, continuing to form much of the overall flavour profile, quite full bodied, hints of coffee in the shadows. Decent.
