Take this single-hopped Riwaka DDH IPA for example, definitely not for the faint-hearted with its over-the-top bacon frazzle qualities - we love seeing people stick their noses in and come up with a confused smile on their faces. Keg at CBJ - Bermondsey. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Medium sweet flavour, nice dank hop character, a little citrus, light rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, more dank notes, pee, grapefruit. Sound.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy pale malts, thin creamy sweetness. Mild pine. Very mild skunk. Typical Kiwi hops, nice touch of lime and citrus, very mild bitterness. Light and semi dry finish. Nice.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 27/08/23. Murky fruit smoothie orange with a decent lasting white head. Nose is pissy citric shreds, pine resin, dank chimes, stoned fruits, bitter tropical fruits, grapefruit, pungent Kiwi hop strokes. Taste comprises ripe tropical fruits, pine resin, dank bite, hop spice, guava, stoned fruits, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with resinous come danko hop bitterness. Solid bitter bastard.
