Keg @ Tilt, Birmingham with John, Craig and Rich. Pours black with a tan ring of foam. Roasted malts and chocolate shades on the nose. Continues to taste, quite sweet and fairly rich in tone with a good chocolate presence and comforting milky caramel. Decent.

Tap at Tilt, Birmingham. Poured almost black in colour with a thin, broken, off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, big chocolate. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, sweet chocolate palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can from The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is chocolate caramel, cappuccino, toffee, brown sugar. Taste is cappuccino, lots of chocolate caramel, raisin, butterscotch, toffee, whisper of smoke. 'Dulce', malty finish.
