Cask at Hull Minster Beer Fest. Opaque chestnut. Foamy creamy off-white head. Aroma has chewy malts and raisins. Flavourwise it's malts with raisins, before developing a bitter and slightly sour edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice.

500ml bottle from Vine and Grain, Beverley. Pours a deep amber with a fine mist, good off-white head. Aroma of spiced amber malt. Fruity, slightly spicy amber to taste, peppery, medium to light bodied, simplistic trad feel. Ok overall.
