濃色モルトを複数ブレンドした色味の濃いビールです。麦芽ローストが作り出すチョコレートのような香りとほのかな甘みが余韻となり、複雑なうま味が広がります。日本ではビールを５～７度に冷やして飲むのが一般的ですが、 このブラックエールは少し高めの10℃前後でお飲み頂くと、濃色モルトと酵母の造り出す複雑な風味が引き立ち、より一層おいしく召し上がっていただけます。

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, June 22. Pours black, modest tan head. Decent dark ale, fairly light bodied with fleeting liquoricey glimpses and distant toffee. Drinks well.
