So it’s in pretty much universal agreement that Citra and Mosaic is a Champions League hop pairing, and one that has been part of the lifeblood of Polly’s since those first beers released way back in that snowy January of 2018. How do you top a Champions League pairing though? Making it a World Cup winning three way dance, that’s how! After having sought after it for so long, we’re making up for all the lost time without Nelson Sauvin here at HQ, and boy does it work in Beyond the Meadow. All those incredible flavour and aroma notes are singing in unison in this pale ale, with pithy orange and lemon notes from Citra, tangerine, bubblegum and dark berries imparted from Mosaic, before rounding off with fresh crushed gooseberries and sweaty grape notes from Nelson. Incredible.

[December 2021] Cloudy gold with a bubbly white head and stewed tropical fruit on the nose. Soft carbonation, peachy with citrus bitterness

Keg @ Tap and Can. Misty golden appearance, not too cloudy and opaque like others have experienced, small white head. Aroma of mild Nelson, some mild gooseberry hints. Taste is nicely balanced, sessionable without being overly hoppy or sweet, good complementary Nelson notes emerging alongside the usual tropical medley. Decent.
