A tropical, hop packed IPA brewed with black malts to give a roasty flavour to balance things off.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 05/12/21. Black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is bitter roast, liquorice, pine needle, dried red berries, charr. Taste comprises light roast, dark malts, brown bread, cola cubes, red berry twang, charr, light ashen strokes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Can thanks to my bro for the pick up. It pours pretty much black with a sturdy dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, burnt pine, umami, liquorice, light ash, splash of tropical fruits, mango, peach, berry and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitterness which lingers, charred pine, rich roasted malt, umami, peppery spice, liquorice, tropical fruits, twist of citrus, berries, green, dank and sticky with a dry, roasted finale. Medium body and average carbonation. Works well for. Flavourful, but also rather drinkable for the style.

Can from Cork & Cask. Black body with a tan head. Faint lacing. Aroma of blackcurrant and espresso. Flavour of weak coffee and brambles. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A bit disappointing - lacks the flavour punch I’ve come to expect from Fierce.
