A rich espresso coffee and tonka bean stout with a creaminess from the oats and sweet tonka bean flavour balancing a bitterness from the 'Cast Iron' coffee, specially chosen for us by our friends at Extract Coffee Roasters. Endeavour and Columbus hops add a peppery hedgerow fruit undercurrent.

330ml can from Docks Beers, Grimsby. Drunk at our holiday lodge in Louth. Pours dark, slight haze with a good off-white collar of foam. Aroma has coffee roast, tonka beans. Taste is smooth with a good chocolatey character, plenty of tonka beans coming up the rear bookended by some pleasant coffee roast. Medium to light body. Nice blend, drinks well.
