A fiercely flavoursome IPA, Hinterland explodes with vibrant aromas of ripe pineapple and fresh, juicy oranges. Softer fruits then linger into a crisp, satisfying finish. Added layers of complexity emerge with time, the result of a careful blend of Brettanomyces and traditional brewer’s yeasts.

Appearance is golden, clear, with almost no head. Aroma is yeasty malt, grapefruit, musty funk, a bit lambic-y, citrus fruit hints. Taste is funky yeast, peppery bitter hops, orange and lemon peel, citrus fruit undertones, creamy malt. Quite complex, good.

440ml can Sophie's Beer Store. Misty gold appearance, large white head. Brett tastic. Vibrant bretty nose, pleasant sweet fruity esters, some orange notes with a crisp bitterness. Very refreshing and a nice representation of brett.
