Cheer up that bleak winter night, put the fire on and warm those toes with this cracking traditional mild. Dark Ruby red in colour, full bodied mouth feel with slightly toasted notes. Then because we do things differently here at Cwrw Ial Community Brew Co we added a good measure of hand foraged Clwydian range blackberries.

Can at Ash's. Pours just clear ruby brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas are hints of dark fruits and sweet malt. Taste is sweet, thin. Not really much going on.

440ml can from Everyman's Wines, Shrewsbury. Pours a deep dark colour with a ruby hint. Off-white froth atop. Aroma of nutty, toasty, dark berries. Taste continues in much the same fashion, light but pleasant dark berry shades with some woody malt notes, lovely winter mild overall from a great community brewery.
