A bitter in the classic traditions but brewed with a modern sensibility. Full bodied, malt and caramel flavours make this a very sessionable ale.

Hand-pulled pint in the White Hart (Shifnal) on 11th June 2025. Amber body, clean and clear, on top a decent white crown that hung around for a while. Malty with a semi-sweet caramel base, hop bitterness kicks in towards the finish.

Cask at Lych Gate, Wolverhampton. Pours golden amber with a medium sized foamy almost white head and excellent lacing. The aroma is mainly malts and caramel with some hints of autumn fruits. In the mouth in fluctuates on the edges of sweet and bitter with malts, caramel and some traditional hoppiness. Later there are hints of honey, barley sgar and apricot. Bitterness wins out in the slightly dry finish. This is decent.
