Unser bernsteinfarbener Rauschkönig ist eine absolut einzigartige naturbelassene Bamberger Brauspezialität. Liebevoll von hand gezupfte Dolden der Sorte Perle erzeugen in der Kalthopfung eine schöne Würzigkeit und Frische. Durch das Zusammenspiel mit Weihrauch und der Verwendung von ausgesuchten Spezialmalzen erreicht das alkoholhaltige Malzgetränk sagenhaft würzige und auch frische Kräuternoten. Begleitet vom Hopfen Aroma der deutschen Traditionssorte Perle. Ein erstklassiges Amber mit der unvergleichlichen Würzigkeit des Weihrauchs.

Brown with an immediately fleeting foamy white head. Aroma full of woodsmoke. Light vinegar and soap underneath. Taste is mildly sweet up front, quickly moving into vinegary and sour territory. I don’t think this one is supposed to be like this. Did not finish.

ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, straw, dusty, light wood - smoked notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt, straw, medium dry, light wood - oak smoke notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190903]

Sampled @ Craftbier Messe Mainz 2018. A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of mild dry grainy malt, hay. Taste of dry grainy malt, straw, pale malt, low bitterness.
