Growler from Meridian Pint. Poured a clear dark amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was Light caramel malts, crisp grassy character. Sweet malts, touch of earthy notes here. Light bitterness. Clean and easy to drink.

Bottle from a branch of Giant in Sterling, Virginia. Amber in colour, with moderate carbonation. A strong, malty lager with some caramel, slight toastiness, leafy hops and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Rubbery caramel, dried leaves. Hazy auburn, thin yellow head. Elderberries, dried leaves, subtle honey presence. Fizzy, alcohol somewhat noticeable, but not intrusive. Enjoyable, unique.
