Draft. From old notes. Dry with some odd clove spices. Apple notes are decent. Meh, pretty good.

Kinda pissed that they seem to want to obscure the brewer of this one. Thought that was a shitty practice only the big boys engaged in. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a trace soapy white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was dryish and tart with almost ginger and a hint of apple. The flavor was bitter and tart with cardboard, ginger ale and a bit of apple. Medium length finish. Light body. Pretty crappy - which might be why Southern Tier is not featured prominently on the label.

This cider pours a slightly hazy straw-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of apples and spices. Light-bodied with flavors of semi-tart apples, herbal yeast and spice. The finish is dry and fruity with an apple aftertaste. Decent overall.

Apple, rice, slight hint of babyfood and vinegar aroma. Cloudy greenish yellow. Tart apple, light farmhouse note. Tartness becomes more tangy at midpalate. Quickly finishes dry and barnyardy. Good transitions and balance. Quite enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle from Midtown Bottle Shop, Harrisonburg, opened 8/22/14. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin fizzy head. Aroma of mealy apples, glue, earth, toasted cereal, sweet apple finish. The taste is dry apples, floral notes, green apple, spice. Medium bodied, slight lingering spice. Meh.
