Holy Crap! evolved by accident, when our brewer blended two different styles of beer. After months of digging for the recipe, we learned: you can’t suppress a brewer’s gust instinct. This 9.0% ABV Imperial Red Ale leads with a strong malt body and finishes with the dry bitterness of a 65-million year extinction. Hold on to your butts!!!

Supporting my soon to be parents adopted home state. The red is tatsy. Hope this brewery gets respect. Tasty.

Got a weirdly made can, thou.

orange yellow & clear. Big head. Smells like volatile beer. Taste is big strong beer. Yes, over the top in hops and nastiness. Difficult & rude, yet it helps me to forget. Does what it sets out to do, make your mind numb.

Can from my brother. Medium, muddy amber, skin of head Heady malty aroma, caramel, brown bread. Taste also favors the Malts, mildly sweet and bitter. ABV not readily apparent, but some warmth creeps in

Sweet, malty, a bit funky. Not my favorite style, and the rating reflects that.

On tap at Black Squirrel, pours a murky amber with some creamy, white head. Nose has stale bread/malt, some apple, some blood orange, caramel, booze. Flavor follows, cheap malt, caramel, honey, orange. Medium bodied and perhaps a bit under attentuated.
