Went boating with a friend and this is what he offered me. Really it wasn’t too bad! Much better than a coors light. Some light hops and the typical macro malts. It’s a macro lager but really wasn’t undrinkable like most.
To broken water heaters.

Originally rated September 2006. Was quite pleased with this light beer last night, as I drank many from the bottle. Now, tonight, is the proper test. Pours a very pale gold colour with a foamy white head. Surprisingly, this one stays longer than expected and lace is formed. Wow ! Aroma is quite nasty, like metal rusting with your neighbour’s compost. Last night, the taste was malty and semi-sweet. Tonight, it’s mainly corn and water. Much better from the bottle, but if you want Pabst (moneywise), stick with the normal one.

Can: Lighter than the original? Maybe... I never thought PBR was that terrible when compared to the typical tailgater’s choice, but why not make it less flavorful and thus easier for ole’ JimBob to chug?

Can Side by side with the full strength version. pours out a light gold topped with a tall white head. Aroma of malts and corn sweetness. Tast was a little smoother than the OG version. Still not good.

Um... ok... so you take Pabst and water it down and you get this. So it is bad. But hey it is at least easy watery drinking and has a taste of that Pabst crappiness that we all love, so I can’t hate this beer all the way except because it is so blasphemous against the very good name of Pabst.

Light grassy hop aroma. Less than golden color with a respectable white head. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Not too fizzy. Light sweet malt - might be barley! Hardly any bitter - just enough to be able to say there is some. Must be some sort of point to this. Sure. Marketing point to encourage excess consumption.

12 oz silver can that says it’s a special light beer with a full bodied taste. I really liked PBR so this will be interesting. This is not a padder, I’ve drank his many times before, but I wanted to get a few good rated beers under my belt before I actually rated this. I drink it as I rate, not from memory. Has a yeasty aroma like that of a good witbier. Pours typical yellow like any other pale yellow american beer. Has a white head that rapidly fades. There are some bubbles that are constantly rising inside the mug. Has a little less than gentleman like flavor that seems a bit watered down compared to original PBR, but it is not as watered down as yuengling light or hienekin light. Has good average carbonation. The flavor is somewhat like PBR and is refined. Finish has no bitter astringentness what so ever. Enjoyable and repeatable, a good session beer.
