Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, salted liquorice, mild star anise like elements too. Flavour is extremely sugary and syrupy sweet, with sweet liquorice root and some sweet dried fruity elements. Kind of ok, but even half a bottle is hard to finish by yourself due to the sweetness.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 4 Oct 2019) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of liquorice, caramel, burnt sugar and honey. Malty, fruity taste with salty liquorice, coffee, burnt sugar and caramel. Low bitterness. Almost full body, quite sweet. Liquid liquorice, but not much stout. Unbalanced and strange, but fairly enjoyable.

Draught @ MÖ&WF 2019 [ Malmö- Öl & Whiskyfestival 2019 ], Malmömässan, Mässgatan 6, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden.[ As 137 Telge Brygghus Imperial Lakrits Stout ].Clear dark black colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet wood, rapsberry, licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet wood, licorice, raspberry jam, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190316] 7-4-8-4-15

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with small beige head. Aroma of licorice. Exceptionally sweet with full body and sticky mouthfeel. Syrup and salt licorice, some treacle. Dear god, this is disgustingly sticky sweet and uniform. Undrinkable.
