Thin beige head on an unclear amber coloured body. Malt, bubble gum & grain aroma. Medium bodied, harsh over the tongue with a cloying back. Malt, herbal, bitter hop & grainy tastes with a pine & grapefruit finish. Standard.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright amber pour with a scant white covering; tropical fruit aroma; sweet tropical fruit taste, then a touch of pear; followed by a crisp citrusy finish. Very tasty.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head but good lacing. Marmalade to the fore in the aroma with tropical fruits in the background. In the mouth it starts off sweet and juicy with tropical fruits and mango. Later on it becomes more hoppy with hints of grains and pine. Finish is dry and somewhat fruity. Not bad at all though nothing like the sort of beer I normally go for.
