[ As O’Connor Dry Irish Stout ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, strong coffee, dusty coffee - malt. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, coffee, roasted, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140516]

Pours clear and golden deep brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and breadish. Bitter, toasted and breadish to caramelish. Lingering dry and roasted into the finish.

Pours clear deep reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a coffee finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours clear dark ruby with small light tan head. Clear aroma of coffe and roasted malt. Bitter, roasty flavour, with notes of coffee beans and dark chocolate. Bitter and sourish aftertaste. OK.

Very dark brown with tiny beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little lacto, little milk chocolate, caramel, hop and a little bitter.

Draft at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook. Poured a dark brown color with a nice dark tan head. Aroma was notes of chocolate with roasted malts. Flavor was roasted malts, creamy texture with some touch of coffee, chocolate. Enjoyable.

Draft. Very dark brown color, thick and solid beige head, solid lacing. Aroma of candied chocolate and licorice. Taste is cocoa powder, coffee grounds, caramel. Light bidy, chicolate soda finish.

Draft: Minty and lemony aroma, reminiscent of some sort of cleaning solution. Charred oak note also prominent. Brown, thin tan head. Sour soy sauce. Wow, the sourness is just not very good. Soured.

Sampled on nitro at the brewery on 7/15/11. Pours a dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and nutty notes. The taste is roasted malts, nutty notes, bitter leafy hops. Medium bodied.

Smooth and creamy. Nice roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee, nuts, and a mild sourness on this stout. Really easy drinking. Pleasantly surprised here.
