Brown color, looks like a brown ale rather than a porter. Mild hoppiness. Watered brown bread with light unfermented malts. Comes of a bit as a kvass. Has a mineral feel.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, light roast. Tastes of rye, dark chocolate, roasty notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty good.

Tap at Maxs. Sweet, rich, malty porter. The rye isn’t overwhelming, well incorporated. Medium to full bodied, heavy specialty malt tones. Big and roasty with a mellow amber malt undertone. Good.

Tap at Max’s, courtesy of Kenneth on his return from Afghanistan. Dark maroon brown color, beige head. Nice aroma of lightly spiced brown bread. Taste has lightly spiced cocoa and coffee. Very tasty.
