Big pretty blue and orange metallic label on my pounder can. No BO on the nose, thank you. Smell is big dull metallic stinky IPA aftershave, fer sher and the taste buds confirm it. What can be said except its a giant of a hop thud in the back of the throat. Whew, even the look in the glass is rude with its chunks floating around in a somewhat darker hefe lookin thang. Such a display of precipitants. Foamy cream head goes rocky and ceases to fade. It floats like an old alabaster battleship named betsy on the top of the brew. So much dull hops, its fricken rude shit and that, my friend, interprets to; if you like big giant aged ipa feel, this is it, ignore my lager lovin numbers. Quite an impact from beginning to end. On the finish, this viscous thick stuff thinks its more than 7%, and I agree. Yes, simply a scary big fat IPA that walks freely all over IPA impyland, heheheh, I think I'm getting dizzy towards the end of this can, heheh.

Crisp copper and deep golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grass, light resin and a moderate amount of malty and cardboardie earthy notes with some nuts in there as well. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavours at first that dominate with a big earthy bite showing some oats and biscuits, all with a big kick from the resin and light grassy flavours that the hops bring out on the very tail end. Aftertaste shows much more of a malt and grainy bite with some earth and light nuttiness than any real hop profile of any discernible measure. Overall, a decent beer at best, but a pretty mellow and unassuming IPA that doesn't really hit the mark, but also doesn't miss by anything either - just relatively average, which isn't such a bad thing, just another beer that isn't worth trying to find by any means. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased yesterday from Glen-Ro Liquors in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,00! Sampled on the train from New York to Washington a day later on 11-March-2018.
