Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Lets get one thing straight for a start – this is NOT a hazy beer ! Pours a clear golden yellow with a small white heat and some lacing. Honey is prominent in the aroma, along with malts and biscuits. Honey again to the fore in the mouth, plus treacle, floral hops and grains. Bitterness increases after a while, and grass and herbs come through as well. Finish is slightly dry. This is reasonable – better than I expected.
