This limited release was brewed in honor of our dear friend, Eddison “Eddie” Hermond who tragically lost his life saving another person during the devastating flood that hit Historic Ellicott City in 2018. With his family's permission, we named this beer "Eddie Brave" and it was only fitting for us to create it in his favorite style (Belgian IPA, 7%). Generous assistance from our friends at Proximity Malt allowed us to begin with a solid pale malt base along with pilsner and white wheat. Amarillo, Topaz and Centennial hops display a burst of citrus fruit in the aromatics and flavor profile that compliments the gentle spice character from the Belgian yeast.
