12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! 10/14/20. Hazy orange, thin foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, honey, citrus.Taste is orange, lemon, honey, apple, pale malt. Medium bodied, a lingering tartness that I don't expect to be there or is at least off style. Muddled. Needs work.

Very crisp deep copper and bronze coloured body with a large four to five centimetre tall tan head that fades quickly and leaves just about nothing on top. Aroma of light grain, toasted malt, a dash of peat, some subdued earth and only a dash of caramelised sugars without much else. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and grainy flavours dominate with the malted barley notes the strongest as well, showing perhaps some small sugar flavours from caramel and light toffee and a dash of cleanser notes towards the end, without any real depth. Aftertaste shows some soft herbal and light citrusey notes and ending with a touch of earthiness and tobacco notes, that finish this one out. Overall, a fairly subdued and mellow offering, with some lighter malt, grain and earthy notes, without anything of real substance and only showing a softer herbal and funky bite at the end. Good to sample, but not really recommended unless you absolutely love lighter lagers, and even then, just ot use as an example and not as a world-class version of any style. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 20-May-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-June-2020.
