Inspired by summers on the CT coast, we set out for a superbly drinkable, yet abundantly flavorful IPA. Fugu is made for beach days, a perfect wooded New England hike, and catching just the right wave right after sunrise. Immensely aromatic and complexly hoppy for its crushable nature, Fugu combines a carefully selected combination of American hops (Citra, Cashmere & El Dorado). Flavors of earthy citrus, papaya, grapefruit, and a subtle note of watermelon all swirl on the pallet with a finishing pop of appropriate bitterness.

Draft at Paragon, 8/1/24. Fully hazy orange color with a white head and fairly coating lace. Peach, melon, pineapple, and some mango. Rather juicy flavor profile. Leans sweet. Fairly clean. Pretty good overall. 7/4/8/4/16

Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma of plain citrus. Taste has citrus, hops, some tropical juice notes, bits of lemon. Palate has more lemon, mild resin, loads of juicy hops. Good.

Draft: Poured a hazy yellow with a white lacing head. Aroma is malty, sticky, resinous, fruity. Taste is bitter hops forward, melon, citrus, fruity.

Tap at the birch Norfolk Virginia. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is semi sweet, juicy, mango, tangerine, creamy wheat. Flavour is composed of semi sweet juicy orange tangerine, mango, soft wheat, juicy fruits. Palate is semi sweet, light tangy moderate carbonation. Ok.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Aromas of coconut, mikan, pine and tangerine. More of the same on the palate with lots coconut, creamy cantaloupe and honeydew melon flavors. Very low perceived bitterness. Enjoyable.

Cloudy yellow-orange body, medium dense cream head. Aroma of white grape, melon, and lychee. Soft body with flower nectar, melon, lychee, passionfruit, berry, and some underlying grassiness. Solid.

Can. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Tropical fruit and light citrus aroma. Orange and light grapefruit flavor with light tropical fruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Orange and light grapefruit linger with light tropical fruit.
