PROCESS & TASTE
The black widow is fruit-forward, yet tart, with a tantalizing complexity, made with blackberries and freshly pressed New York apples.

DESCRIPTION
Wild blackberries are native across the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the United States. They grow bountifully throughout summer and ripen to a plump juicy black color in August. They belong to the rose family, as you might expect from their thorny brambles, along with raspberries, strawberries, the stone fruits, and almonds.

Any forager can use blackberries to make wine or infuse whiskey, or enjoy in 12 oz cans with freshly pressed New York apples from Original Sin.

Can for 2.5$. Very pretty clear deep purple red. Head fades to nuttin. Interesting odd sweet off fruit aroma. Yes good apple cider flavor backed up by somewhat blackberry taste. Sweet and tart but not excessively sweet. I would never call this dry but I appreciate it does not come across like a vermont would chuck et al. I think I'm getting a little of that champagne yeast character, maybe epernay? Just asking. Yea, not bad. Can't think of another cider I had exclusively with black berries. Has a bit of that permanent hair treatment flavor on the finish.

Not bad really, I kinda wasn't expecting much but it was fair. Its fairly fruity pouring a purplish color, held its head surprisingly well for a cider. Dominated by the blackberries, it has a nice berry aroma and tart berry flavor over the semi-sweet apple background. The tart and sweet balanced each other well enough. Moderately drinkable.
