Our signature Parabola imperial stout achieves new heights in this limited small-batch release.The story of this beer began when we aged it in an equal selection of rare older-stock barrels from premium spirits producers - specifically 14 year Old Fitzgerald bourbon barrels and 18 year Sazerac rye whiskey barrels. These barrels complemented Parabola's classic dark chocolate, cherry and vanilla flavors by imparting hints of stone fruits, fudge, leather and peppery spice. Additionally, we aged the beer for a full two years prior to blending and bottling, cultivating an ultra-smooth mouthfeel fo this prodigiously flavorful beer.

Tap at Gourmet Haus. Pours dark brown with mahogany highlights. Minimal tan head. Brown sugar and whiskey aroma. Flavor is booze, char and tar. Complex and tasty.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep brown to black with creamy beige head. Nose - dark chocolate, burnt wood, hazelnut, sweet liquorice and raisin. Taste - Flake bar, then raisin, burnt wood and smoke. Palate -.rich and full bodied and roasty finish. Overall - very nice. Complex.

Pours pitch black and a small, dense light brown head with good retention. Aroma's: lots of bourbon, vanilla, wood, light umami, molasses, chocolate. Retronasal: sweetish, boozy, bourbon, chocolate, syrup. Flavour is heavy sweet, boozy. Full bodied. Proper carbonation. Alcohol is warming, but (just) not too hot. Long finish with light charcoal and light bitterness. Absolute World class.

Bottle. Blackish beer with a light brown head. Chocolate and whiskey aroma with light oak. Caramel and chocolate flavor with dark fruit and whiskey. Medium-plus bodied. Caramel and chocolate linger with dark fruit, whiskey, light earth, and vanilla. Alcohol present.
