Im Sudhaus kamen handverlesene weihnachtliche Spezialmalze zum Einsatz, die unserem Christmas Weizenbock eine warme Note und einen rötlich-schimmernden Glanz verleihen. Während der Gärung in offenen Bottichen konnte unsere Gutmann-Hefe ihr charakteristisches Aroma voll entfalten. Der Bock wurde anschließend durch eine spezielle Kalthopfung mit sorgfältig ausgewählten amerikanischen Hopfensorten veredelt. Den krönenden Abschluss bildet unsere traditionelle Flaschengärung.

So entstand ein Weizenbock, der mit seiner harmonischen Mischung aus weihnachtlich duftendem Malz und festlichen Hopfennoten begeistert.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fine malty yeasty aroma. Starts fine malty, more and more yeasty, some herbs, light hoppy background. Finish well balanced. Nice.

0,33 l bottle from their webshop. Cloudy red brown in the glass with a nearly two finger light tanned head. Malty aroma with clove and yeast, banana and orange. Taste starts with a dry bitterness, toasted wheat, yeast, clove and overripe fruity elements in the second row. Low carbonated. Strong stuff.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before May 2025. Very hazy, brownish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-resiny aroma of banana, clove, honey, grapefruit and some pine. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, honey, some grapefruit and light pine, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty Weizenbock, somehow not overly special though, just a bit americanised, a concept that doesn't surprise anymore.

Stark bananiger Geruch. Süffiger, dunkel hefiger Antrunk, stark nach Nelken, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Eher trocken, deutlich hefig bleibend, cremig, deutliche Bitterkeit. Spritzig, mittellanger Abgang, gelungen. 11/9/9/10/11/9

A hazy orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of ripe banana, caramel, bread, yeast. Taste of overriped banana, yeast, caramel, toffee, clove. Nice!
