I wouldn't call it a traditional best bitter but it nice. Has a bitter sweet finish and slightly roasted malt flavour.

330ml can courtesy of Deanso. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, light, malt, mineral, light metallic, light biscuit, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask pint at The Euston Tap on 26th October 2021. Deep amber body, off-white head. Malts lead the way in both the nose and taste, the hops kicking in mid-sip for a semblance of balance. Liked it.

Can from Meads liquor shop. Choco aroma. Looks like a mild and frankly tastes like a mild somewhat. The malts are very prominent and sometimes hops make a punch, sometimes tobacco dark choco makes a punch. It feels a bit messy but maybe I'd rate it better if it I was expecting something other than a best bitter. Nonetheless, it's nice enough. (22/9/20).

Cask at taproom at Saffrons, Eastbourne. This was more or a mess than last time. Murky and too rough. Caramel forward. 6.3 to 5.3. (19/7/25).
