Screamer Vintage Cider. A still, dry, single variety cider made using Harry Master’s Jersey bitter sweet cider apples.

Swift (Apus apus) or ‘Screamer’ in the old Pembrokeshire dialect. This annual visitor to the farm can be seen swooping over our flower meadows to catch flying insects. A young swift can spend 3 years in flight before landing, which is about the same time it takes to make our vintage cider.

24/3/2025. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sharp green apple, tannic, funky. Light sweetness, quite dry. Moderate body. Nice.

500ml bottle from Brooksgrove Farm. Golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, funk, wood. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, leather, meaty funk, with some mellow bittersweet drying earthy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
