Is there anything more wonderful than a sea of sweet smelling, pale pink apple blossoms dappled with soft Spring light, thrumming with the hum of wings transporting gold dust and in turn securing us a harvest?

Whilst apple blossom contains both male and female reproductive organs, many varieties of apple are in fact self-sterile meaning that they rely on a pollinator to set fruit. Even the few varieties that don’t necessarily require pollination, do far better when set by different varieties. It goes without saying that pollinators are utterly essential to the production of food and our collective future.

Naturally sparkling and with a flavour reminiscent of bright, tropical banana and mango. We think this pairs beautifully with a delicious hard cheese like Comté. Drink young and fresh or lay down and allow to mature for up to five years.
