BIAB at the Chappel Beer Festival with Grumbo. Aroma is whiskey, vanilla, woody, sweet apple and tannic. Decent body and very smooth. Woody dryness. Nice bitterness developing as well. Very good.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Bright golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of whisky, wood barrel, apple. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, whisky cask, woody, vanilla, oak, buttery with some spicy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy & tannic whisky barrel finish. Nicely drinkable.

6/9/2024. From BIAB at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours clear golden with a few bubbles. Aroma is whisky, woody, vanilla, sweet apple, flowers, menthol. Medium sweetness, developing bitterness and dryness. Medium body, very smooth, light carbonation. Dry woody finish. Enjoyed this.
