Deep chestnut brown with a bubbly tan head and soft fruit malt on the nose. Sweet malt with fruity notes and just a hint of spice, mellow dry bitterness finishes things off, just a bit on the thin side

Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at The Raven. Deep rosewood coloured body, filmy off-white layer leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Slightly roasted malty nose, hints of earth and leaves. Dark doughy flavours with moments of caramel malts. Finish of with a drop of fruity bitterness. Satisfying (Bath 03.05.2017).

Cask at the Raven, Bath - 03/04/12. Dark brown amber colour with thin white head. Biscuit malts on the nose. Fruity taste allied to the biscuit malt, a little chocolate and nut. Medium bodied, smooth finish, ok beer.
