Leicht rostiger, leicht süßer Beginn. Unterdurchschnittlich karbonisiert, moderat herb, ziemlich trocken. Spritzig, kurzer Abgang, gut trinkbar. 10/8/9/9//9

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni vocali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si percepiscono note di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane tostato e agrumi.

On keg at Doppio Malto, Glasgow. Appearance - clear amber with a thin off-white head. Nose - toffee, bready and prunes. Taste - raisins, prunes and toffee. Cakey or bready too. Palate - rich, sweet and medium bodied, Sweet but slightly roasty finish. Overall - yes, like this a lot.

Keg @ Doppio Malto, occupying one part of George Square in the building in the photo i've added in Glasgow. Darker amber with a head. Red ale taste, mildly sweet, fair strength, and grows on you. Sweet red ale nose.
