Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, dark, cola brown. Ring of lasting, tan head. Nose has red wine dregs. Oak. Balsamic vinegar. Chocolate malts. Notes of Parma Violet sweets. Taste is vinous, dry, and tangy. Light chocolate sweetness. Some dried fruit bitterness. Medium body. Low carbonation. Finishes tangy, vinous, and fairly bitter. Comes together well.

Lovely red wine-y stout. Rich and malty and the barrel aging really comes through. Rich and very tasty.
