On February 6th, we hosted a special brew day in honour of IWD 2024, inviting women from different Manchester-based organisations who have inspired us and have positively contributed to their communities. Although only 4%, our IWD Pale Ale doesn't lack in hop impact. The aroma is bold and dank, and this continues on the taste with a full body and soft pine finish. It showcases Motueka, Columbus, Waimea and Idaho 7 working in harmony to create a truly punchy Pale Ale. It will be packaged in 9 unique cans featuring all the participants from our brew day.

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester, 22/3/2024. Golden in colour, with a slight haze and off-white, head. Tangerine and pineapple fruit, grassy hops, green herbal edge, with some rich tea malts leading to a lingering, dry, finish. Enjoyable.

Fluffy white head left a creamy top on a hazy dull golden coloured body. Dank & onion aroma. Medium bodied, creamy with a sharp finely carbonated back. Dank, melon, lime, garlic & bitter citrus tastes with a hoppy finish. Good one.

Appearance is golden, a bit of haze, a white clingy head. Aroma is pineapple, orange, mango, tropical fruit hints. Taste is hop bitterness, pineapple, orange peel, bit of tropical fruit, bitter fruity finish.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 15/03/24. Hazed orange with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine needle, ripe tropical fruit esters, danko edged. Taste comprises light stoned fruits, orange zest, grass, guava, pine nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced juicy come lightly dankened hop bitterness. Solid flavoursome pale for the ABV.

On tap at Unit 9. Pours murky pale yellow gold with a decent white cap that fades a little. Aroma is peach, tangerine, pine notes, dank hop. Taste is peach, tangerine, biscuit malt, pine bitterness and dank hop. Really bitter dank finish. OK.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a a lasting loose white head. Aroma is pencil shavings, rubber ball, wheat, green hop, nettle. Flavour is composed of rounded soft wheat. Flaked wheat, pencil shavings, bark, green hop, background tropical fruits mineral, hop tea. Palate is semi sweet, bark, mineral, chalk, fine carbonation. Fine. Bit of a boring hazy.
