Ka pow! Hop Ninja is an in-your-face West Coast double IPA. Hop flavors slice their way through a base of American 2-row malt kissed by caramel malt. Quadruple dry hopping with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Columbus creates an aroma that skillfully takes your olfactory senses hostage. A dry finish masks the sneak attack of 8.9% ABV.

On tap at Growler Guys, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, resinous notes, and residual light candied sweetness. Flavour is somewhat messy, with resinous hops, candied sweetness and caramel bread malt. A bit jagged, with a higher-than-desired sweetness. Not bad overall, but not what I hope for in a IIPA.
