Brown-black pour with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate, coffee and anise. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, coffee and black licorice. The finish is roasty with a dark chocolate and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.
