Die alte Fürther Brauerei Evora & Meyer, welche 1941 den Braubetrieb eingestellt hat, wird durch das EVORA® Export neu ins Leben gerufen. Natürlich wird hierbei nach dem historischen Maischverfahren gebraut, welches dem Bier seinen unvergesslichen Geschmack gibt. Mit dem EVORA® hat Braumeister Vincent Bartl den Stil einer schon fast vergessenen Fürther Brauerei wieder neues Leben eingehaucht. 500ml bottle [as Evora Vollbier, 4.8% abv]. Opalescent, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy, pale malty and grassy hoppy aroma, cautious fruity hints of green apple, gooseberry. Taste is minimally sweet, pale malty, slightly grassy and minimally fruity hoppy, hints of green apple, gooseberry. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Light, refreshing, drinkable - nice.

ABV: 5.3%. Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, grain, hay, light floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190706]

33cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, grassy hops, straw. Taste of floral bitter hops, weed, grainy malt, mild bitterness.

Getreidig hopfiger, mild würziger Antrunk. Trocken herb, weich, süffig. Schnell endendes Finale, der Hopfen verschwindet sofort. Gut trinkbar. 8/9/8/9/7/9

Zum Glück gibt’s diese Wiederbelebung eines historischen Fürther Bieres auch in Nürnberg zu kaufen, so daß mir der beschwerliche Weg nach Färdd erspart blieb ... Niedliche verkleinerte Maurerpulle (33 cl) aus der Bierothek in Nürnberg. - Hell goldbraun, leicht trüb. - Die Nase ist für ein kaltgehopftes Bier enttäuschend schwach: bis auf ein wenig mattes Karamelmalz und winzige Spuren tropischer Frucht ist da nichts zu erschnuppern. - Antrunk schlank und leicht säuerlich karamelmalzig. Matte, aromatische eher indifferente Herbe: von Ariana und East Kent Golding ist hier arg wenig zu schmecken. Durchschnittlich rezent. Mild herber, wenig hopfenaromatischer Abgang. Leerer Nachtrunk. - Resultat: für ein Export zu schlank, für ein Kaltgehopftes zu blaß, insgesamt unrund und matt. Nicht der Mühe wert.
