Nestled on Corstorphine Hill lives an abundance of Elder trees. We foraged bundles of this elderflower which were cold-macerated alongside our house culture to create this unique mixed-fermentation sour beer. Drink fresh to enjoy maximum flavour.

Bottle shared at pre-Borefts tasting. Thanks for sharing all! Hazy lighter golden with white head. Tart grains, sour lactic notes, soft elderflower, glue. Quite sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied.

Pre-Borefts Tasting at the Kim Jung Un Buurtcentrum in Zaandam. Thanks for sharing to the entire RB crowd here! Bottle shared. Pours hazy pale yellow with white head. Pretty sharp elderflower, lemon. Borefts pre tasting, 2018. Poured a hazy yellow straw colour with a bubbly round white head. The aroma is yeast, big elderflower. The flavour is moderate sour with a light crisp, yeasty, biscuit, citrus fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

7 3 6 2 14Bottle at Kim Jong Un Buurtcentrum Pre-Borefts ‘18, Zaandam. Very hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of elderflower, citrus and lemon. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at BeaverFest. Funky with floral elderflower. Opaque Pale Gold. Thin creamy white head. Heavy sour. More citrus then elderflower. Thin. Slick. Average carbonation.ong dry astringent finish. Decent wild. Could do with more elderflower perhaps.
