Ever so slightly hazy peach and copper coloured body with a rather large four to five centimetre tall tan and off-white head. Aroma of grass, citrus, pine, grapefruit, a lot of malt and earthy and biscuity grain, along with a bit of alcohol and astringency towards the end. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavours show at first with a lot of biscuity and grainy notes, also showing some alcohol and citrus notes, but the hops surely dominate with the grapefruity and piney notes by far the strongest. Aftertaste shows a great balance of malt and hops with the hops coming right afterwards and blending well, but providing a lot of complexity with the grapefruit, citrus, orange, pine and resin all coming through towards the end. Overall, a nice Imperial IPA that doesn't show 9,0%, but does show closer to 7, but still leaves a nice complexity and balance throughout and shows some apricot and fruit notes as well. Good to sample and if you like Imperial IPAs, this one is worth grabbing if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 21-October-2018 for US$2,49 sampled in my hotel room in Basking [Robbins] Ridge, New Jersey on 20-November-2018.

On tap at Manayunk, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is robust, with an earthy and citrus hop character, and a dry biscuity malt base. Earthy and dry. Decent.
A bit of a funky after taste keeps this beer from greatness.

Can at home, Nivala. Colour is murky dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, pine, caramel, massive hops and malts. Not very fruity even label says so. Very hoppy and surprisingly drinkable.
