Can, courtesy of mansquito. Pours dark brown and flat. Raisin, biscuit, plum, sulfur. Undercarbed body. Fairly mediocre.

A reddish copper bock with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light dark fruits, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at brewery.

At the source: pours amber with an off white head. Aroma is light dark fruit and bubblegum. Taste is not very doppelbockish. I guess it is sweet and whatever it is but this is just kind of not working. Not a fan. All their amber beers taste the same.
