23rd May 2019 Level 6 bottleshare. Can. Hazy gold beer, short lived pale cream colour head. Light and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Light creamy malts, quite thin. Strawberries and bitterish pine. Bitter spice. Tangy spice. Smooth semi dry finish. Spicy linger. Interesting but could be a lot sweeter.

Can from Village Beer Merchant. Unclear golden. Strawberry, cinnamon, allspice, vanilla, ice frosting. Not my thing.

An oddity of overly lactose and allspice, but also nice strawberry notes.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber, light reddish color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, vanilla, cream, brown sugar, marshmallow, wheat, and biscuit dough; with light notes of cinnamon, allspice, peppercorn, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberries, sugars, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, vanilla, cream, brown sugar, marshmallow, wheat, and biscuit dough; with light notes of cinnamon, allspice, peppercorn, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; spicy cinnamon/allspice; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, vanilla, cream, brown sugar, marshmallow, wheat, biscuit dough, light cinnamon/pepper/pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberries, sugars, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitter/spiciness, and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and tart/tangy fruit, Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.6%. Overall this is an incredible flavored milkshake NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberries, sugars, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/spicy/tart/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel. Fantastic balanced juicy/light dank Citra hops, strawberries, sugars, and wheat/oat/malts. Not overly sweet from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. Not as much spices as expected, but still just as impressive as their other flavored NEIPAs. Very similar to the blueberry pastry version, but a bit more tart/tangy on fruit.
