Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange color with a little bit of that "cardboard" looking haze to it; a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left some light lace
Aroma: pineapple to super sweet mango tones with a floral to lemony middle and a creamy sweet lactose/vanilla intertwining
Flavor: seems full meshed between the fruits and creamy lactose/vanilla sweetness; finishes about the same
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe closer to medium bodied; somewhat sessionable; very smooth along the tongue with barely anything distracting anywhere; low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: though I'm not always a "full blown fan" of the style, I'd say this is tolerable to me even though there's a stronger lactose/vanilla tone to it than I was expecting.

From a crash crowler. Pours a murky pale straw with an off white head. Aromas of cranberries and lemon. Flavors are moderately sweet and fruity with some hop bitterness.

Canned 5/20/21, drunk June 5, 2021. Moderately hazy, drab, white-gold-brass with a small but fairly well-retained, white head. Not getting too much of the lactose here, nor is the pineapple character of the rather gross canned variety. Vanilla is soft and in the background. In short, the adjuncts seem to be used sparingly with light floral, fruity and citrusy hops playng well and providing no twang/resin. Soft and lightly juicy, though also nice and attenuated with vanilla and pineapple providing good complexity without being overdone. Wheaty malts are soft/supple and show some cracker and help dry out the lactose which doesn't provide any strange/milky notes, thankfully. Pretty nice, though I do wish the hops were dialed up more and more expressive. As is, they just provide mild tropical and citrus flavors that play nicely with the adjuncts but don't really strike me as very IPA-like. Drank another can, canned 10/14, drunk 10/27. At 13 days old, this is really sweet. I get that milkshake IPAs are on the sweeter side, geared more for people who don't like the bitterness, but this is still just too punishingly sweet and unbalanced, without enough hop character. The pineapple, lactose and vanilla are done well, just need more hop character please.
